1. About House of Pearl Inc
House of Pearl Inc ("House of Pearl," "we," "us") is an independent intellectual property consulting, holding, and licensing company incorporated in the State of Wyoming, United States. These terms govern all services provided by House of Pearl and all use of this website.
2. Services
House of Pearl provides the following services under written agreement:
- Intellectual property consulting. Advisory on brand protection strategy, trademark selection, portfolio structure, and licensing readiness.
- IP and trademark holding. Centralized ownership and administration of trademarks, trade names, logos, and related brand assets.
- Trademark stewardship. Filing coordination, renewal tracking, and portfolio maintenance.
- Brand licensing. Written license agreements granting rights to use protected marks under defined terms.
House of Pearl is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Clients requiring legal opinions on trademark registrability, infringement, or enforcement are advised to consult a licensed attorney.
3. Engagements
All services are provided under a written engagement or license agreement signed by both parties. The written agreement defines the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, fees, and any terms specific to the engagement. In the event of any conflict between these general terms and a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
4. Fees and Billing
All fees are quoted, invoiced, and billed in United States dollars (USD). Fees are set out in each client's written agreement. Payment is due according to the schedule stated in that agreement. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; House of Pearl does not store card details.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund and cancellation rights are governed by each client's written agreement. In general:
- Fees for consulting work not yet performed at the time of cancellation are refundable.
- Fees for work already performed, and third-party filing or government fees already paid on a client's behalf, are non-refundable.
- License fees are refundable only as stated in the applicable license agreement.
Refund requests may be submitted to info@houseofpearl.net and will receive a response within five business days.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate and complete information relevant to their engagement, to hold rights in any materials they submit, and to respond to requests needed to complete the work in a timely manner.
7. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, content, and design elements on this website are the property of House of Pearl Inc or its licensors. Nothing on this website grants any license or right to use any mark or content without a written agreement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, House of Pearl's total liability arising out of any engagement is limited to the fees paid for the services giving rise to the claim. House of Pearl is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where a signed agreement states otherwise.
